With over a decade of marketing experience across diverse industries and a practical background in gallery management, Tyron has quietly mastered the synergy between creative heart and commercial logic. The Academy Art was born from a simple mission: helping artists stay artists while helping collectors find deeper meaning in every acquisition. Known in the art world as "Sketchy Brett," he is a celebrated contemporary artist whose visceral, large-scale charcoal works are held in significant private collections across the globe. Beyond the studio, Brett is a powerhouse entrepreneur with over two decades of experience founding and scaling multi-million rand ventures in property, finance, and creative technology.
As a former Chief Innovation Officer and Creative Director, Brett navigates the art world through a lens of disruptive strategy and commercial mastery. He treats every acquisition with the analytical precision of a seasoned investor and the intuitive heart of a practitioner who understands the weight of every mark made on a canvas.
